Job description

This successful company develops a well-regarded software product, used by media and entertainment customers throughout the world to streamline their digital media production processes. With product usability a key part of their offering, the company seeks a skilled Software Test Developer to design and implement automated tests for custom APIs. The successful Software Test Developer will also collaborate with the Product and UX teams to ensure that usability and quality expectations are met.

Requirements

a solid academic background, with a 2.1 or above in a software related subject;
experience in software development or automated test development, building test frameworks from scratch;
knowledge of Python and / or JavaScript, other languages will be beneficial too;
knowledge of automation tools, modern development practices and source control.

Writing code that is designed to break other code and programs will be your passion, and you will have a keen and inquisitive mind to push the developers’ code to the limit.

This is a remote role, but with occasional visits to the Cambridge office, hence you must be based in the UK. Onboarding will take place at the Cambridge office.

Candidates must have full right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
