Software Developer

They are currently looking to hire a Senior Software Developer to join their team. The team participate in discussions for requirement capture, and contributions for development direction, as well as coding and deploying new software products. There is therefore the opportunity to learn new aspects including develops and scientific documentation.

• Demonstrable background in software engineering.
• Experience with Java or JVM languages.
• Additional experience with JavaScript used for frontend development - may have had exposure to JavaScript frameworks. Further experience with Python would be beneficial.
• Working knowledge of Linux and relational databases.
• An interest in biological sciences, healthcare or just making a positive contribution to the world.

It is expected that interested applicants will be degree qualified, and their CV can demonstrate delivery of a substantial complex web software project.

The team work collaboratively and support is provided via in-house training, and courses where required. Further, this role would suit someone looking for flexibility in their work due to family commitments or just looking for a work-life balance.
