Software Developer (Scientific Applications)

This expanding company is growing their software team and are looking for their next hire. The next projects they are working on include the design and development of the next generation of the software used on their proprietary technology platform. This development will involve working closely with their science teams to develop and build completely new instrument control and data analysis systems. • Degree in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering or similar (although relevant software experience is more important).
• Demonstrable experience in design of complex C# applications for scientific or engineering instrumentation (ideally for embedded control software). Use of WPF frameworks and complex multithreading would be desirable.
• Experience working within an Agile environment.
• Experience with source control and CI/CD build processes.
• Exposure to working closely with scientific teams would be beneficial.
• Any experience with embedded systems, AI / ML, Cloud, Web or Biotech applications would be desirable.
