Java Software Engineer

You will work as part of an Agile/Scrum team and be involved throughout the software development lifecycle, including development, testing, debugging and deployment., * Developing and delivering high-quality Java applications

• Writing unit, integration and feature tests
• Working with other technical teams to understand requirements and resolve issues
• Creating and maintaining low-level technical designs and documentation
• Supporting CI/CD and software delivery activities
• Debugging, performance tuning and improving application reliability
• Participating in Agile ceremonies and sprint activities
• Contributing to digital transformation and wider engineering projects

You should have strong hands-on experience with:

• Java and associated technologies
• Spring Boot
• Unit testing, test automation and TDD
• DevOps tooling and CI/CD
• Debugging, profiling and performance tuning
• Agile software delivery

Experience with Docker or other container technologies would also be beneficial.
