Systems Engineer

You have experience as a systems engineer, developing and decomposing requirements, using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools, and performing trade studies of applicable technologies.

You possess an active DoD Secret clearance and are eligible to be submitted for Top Secret clearance., * Experience as a Systems Engineering on a DoD software focused program with knowledge and experience performing requirements development, requirements decomposition, system design and architecture.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Active DoD Secret Clearance with willingness and eligibility to obtain Top Secret upon hire.

Desired Skills:

• Strong preference for someone with Cisco networking experience and understanding of network architecture principles.

• Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) including Cameo.

• Knowledge of and experience using DOORS for requirements management.

• Knowledge of Agile principles and experience using Jira.

• CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or comparable security certifications

The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
