Job description
Blu Omega is seeking a Junior Power Apps Developer to support a federal business transformation program. This role operates within a remote environment and is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Power Platform solutions that automate manual processes and improve workflows. The position requires experience supporting application development within a business-driven environment., The team supports business operations by replacing manual, email-based, and paper-driven processes with streamlined applications and automation using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint., * Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Microsoft Power Apps.
- Build Power Automate workflows to automate business processes.
- Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand workflows, pain points, and data needs.
- Develop application interfaces, data structures, forms, and workflows.
- Configure and integrate data sources such as SharePoint Online.
- Troubleshoot issues, resolve defects, and enhance existing solutions.
- Support testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Demonstrate applications and gather stakeholder feedback.
- Maintain technical documentation.
- Manage development activities across multiple small projects.
- Collaborate with Power BI and other technical resources as needed.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience developing applications in Microsoft Power Apps, particularly Canvas Apps.
- Experience building workflows and automation using Power Automate.
- Understanding of application development concepts, including data sources, business logic, forms, and testing.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to manage priorities across multiple projects.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using SharePoint Online as a data source within Power Platform solutions.
- Experience with Power Fx.
- Familiarity with APIs, integrations, or SQL.
- Exposure to Power BI or collaboration with Power BI developers.
- Experience in a federal, consulting, or client-facing environment.
- Microsoft Power Platform certifications are a plus.
Benefits & conditions
Salary Range: $80,000-$100,000 Final compensation is based on technical skills, experience, education, certifications, and clearance.
