Posted on 31/07/2026We’re looking for a Senior Core NetworkEngineer with strong Configuration Management expertise to take on a technicalleadership role in one of the most ambitious Core Network programmes in Europe,working directly with one of the continent’s leading telecommunicationsoperators.This is a hands-on leadership positionwithin a small, high-impact team. You’ll set the technical direction, defendyour decisions in front of demanding stakeholders, and lead a squad that countson you to have their back. If you enjoy environments where your judgementcarries weight and your decisions actually ship, this role is built for you.What you’ll doOwn the technical design of Configuration Management capabilitieswithin a complex, multi-vendor Core Network environment, ensuring scalabilityand resilience.Lead a delivery squad: you set direction and review design, whileyour team handles day-to-day platform coding.Make and defend technical decisions in front of the customer’s CoreEngineering team.Drive the translation of operator change practices - change windows,CMDB updates, rollback expectations - into automated, auditable gates.Own vendor and data-model engagement across Ericsson, Huawei andother in-scope vendors, including YANG modules and NETCONF exports.Be the technical escalation point for the account, from vendorengagement to lab access and integration with the customer’s change-managementsystems.RequirementsSolid experience running aConfiguration Management tooling stackfor mobile Core- Cisco NSO, HPE Service Director, Ericsson ENM or anequivalent home-grown platform: golden configurations, drift detection,templating.A real track recordmanaging configuration change on live Core:change windows, governance, rollback strategy, post-change KPI validation, andthe discipline that 24x7 environments demand.Working fluency withNETCONF and YANG- you’ve personally runget-config and edit-config against live nodes and know how to read a schemadeviation.Hands-on experience with at least one5G SA Core(Ericsson, Nokia orHuawei), plus solid conceptual grounding across 5G SBA and 4G EPC architecture.A track recordleading a delivery squad through a customer-facingservice delivery, integration or first-of-kind deployment.Fluent English; working Spanish is a strong plus, as customersessions run in both languages.Nice to haveNone of this is mandatory on day one; a strong Core lead will pick it up quickly working alongside our platform team.GitOps operations and the YANG toolchain (libyang, pyang, yangdiffor similar).Reading-level Python and Kubernetes literacy - enough to review pullrequests and pair with engineers on tricky paths.Multi-element orchestration experience (Cisco NSO or HPE ServiceDirector).3GPP interface familiarity, prior tenure at a Tier-1 Europeanoperator, VoLTE/IMS exposure, or contribution to IETF/3GPP/ETSI standards work.Competitive salary, health insurance and Flexible CompensationPlan as an enterprise benefitAnnual training budgetto help you staytechnologically up to date and grow professionallyTime flexibility: our life is not just aworking day; we give you flexibility both in entry and exit. Requirements

Solid experience running a Configuration Management tooling stackfor mobile Core

Cisco NSO, HPE Service Director, Ericsson ENM or anequivalent home-grown platform: golden configurations, drift detection,templating. A real track record managing configuration change on live Core :change windows, governance, rollback strategy, post-change KPI validation, andthe discipline that 24x7 environments demand. Working fluency with NETCONF and YANG
