Software Project Manager

• Lead software projects within Warehouse Execution Systems (WES) from project initiation through successful client go-live
• Act as key contact between clients, internal departments and development teams
• Analyse client requirements and advise on suitable solutions
• Translate client requirements into actionable system concepts
• Ensure project quality, schedule and customer satisfaction
• Review, edit and coordinate technical, IT and interface specifications
• Identify optimisation opportunities and drive continuous improvement
• Support development of standards, best practices and scalable solutions within Kardex

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a comparable technical discipline
• Initial practical experience in IT or software project management
• Experience with projects implemented or rolled out for clients
• Experience in industrial, automated or logistics environments is an advantage
• Knowledge of warehouse systems such as WES, WCS or WMS is a plus
• Experience working with interdisciplinary and international teams
• Basic understanding of software development processes and system integrations
• Analytical thinking and a structured, solution-oriented approach to work
• High levels of self-motivation and willingness to learn
• Very good written and spoken German and English
• Residence near one of our German Kardex sites or willingness to travel accordingly
• Approx. 10% travel within Europe as part of client projects
