SAP Basis Administrator

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.\n
• Hands-on experience administering SAP Basis in enterprise environments.\n
• Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, or similar SAP platforms.\n
• Proven experience with SAP installations, upgrades, patches, and technical migrations.\n
• Strong knowledge of SAP Transport Management System (TMS).\n
• Experience supporting SAP HANA databases.\n
• Working knowledge of Linux and/or Windows systems running SAP applications.\n
• Ability to diagnose and resolve SAP performance and availability issues.\n
• Solid understanding of SAP architecture and technical landscape design.\n
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.\n, * SAP Certified Technology Associate - System Administration (SAP S/4HANA).\n
• Experience with SAP Solution Manager, including Focused Run.\n
• Experience administering SAP Fiori.\n
• Experience supporting SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).\n

As an SAP Basis Administrator, you’ll take ownership of a dynamic SAP S/4HANA landscape, ensuring its stability, performance, and security. You’ll collaborate across infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, database, functional, and development teams to shape a highly optimized SAP environment. • Administer SAP S/4HANA, ECC, Solution Manager, Fiori, Gateway, Web Dispatcher, SAP BTP, and related system components.\n
• Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and maintain SAP systems following vendor and organizational best practices.\n
• Perform SAP kernel upgrades, support package deployments, Enhancement Packages, and SUM-based activities.\n
• Execute SAP system copies, client copies, refreshes, and full landscape cloning.\n
• Monitor system health, performance, availability, and capacity using SAP tools and enterprise monitoring solutions.\n
• Troubleshoot SAP Basis issues including performance, transport failures, connectivity, and system errors.\n
• Manage SAP Transport Management System (TMS), including sequencing and migrations across all environments.\n
• Coordinate maintenance windows, technical deployments, and outage communications to minimize disruption.\n
• Support SAP High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) design, testing, and execution.\n
• Perform SAP user administration and work with security teams on technical authorization requirements.\n
• Conduct system housekeeping tasks such as background job monitoring, spool management, interface checks, and log reviews.\n
• Collaborate with DBAs on SAP HANA backup, recovery, tuning, and optimization activities.\n
• Support integrations with middleware, identity management, authentication platforms, and external systems.\n
• Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, SOPs, and configuration baselines.\n
• Assist with ATO, RMF, STIG compliance, vulnerability remediation, and cybersecurity requirements.\n
• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action planning for production incidents.\n
• Support cloud-based SAP environments including SAP RISE and hybrid architecture deployments.\n
• Provide technical assistance during new deployments, releases, and ongoing sustainment operations.\n
