Test Lead

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced QA/Test Engineer with a strong focus on REST API testing, integration testing, and end-to-end validation across web and mobile platforms. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of collaborating effectively with both onsite and offshore teams, particularly within the banking and financial services domain. This role requires a deep understanding of API testing methodologies and the ability to implement robust testing strategies to ensure the highest quality of software products., Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for REST APIs, ensuring thorough coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.

Perform integration testing to validate the interaction between various components and systems, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.

Conduct end-to-end testing across web and mobile platforms to ensure a consistent and high-quality user experience.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability.

Utilize Pytest for automation of test cases, enhancing testing efficiency and coverage.

Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools, ensuring timely resolution and retesting.

Participate in code reviews and provide input on testability and quality aspects of the software development lifecycle.

Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software testing, particularly in the banking and financial services sector.

Strong expertise in API testing, with a deep understanding of RESTful services and tools.

Proficient in integration testing methodologies and practices.

Experience with end-to-end testing across web and mobile applications.

Hands-on experience with Pytest for test automation.

Solid understanding of the banking and financial services domain.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with onsite and offshore teams.

Preferred Skills:

Primary Skill - API integration testing, Mobile testing ,Pytest automation, Payment / Banking domain experience

Familiarity with other testing frameworks and tools.

Experience in performance testing and security testing.

Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools.

Understanding of Agile methodologies and practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Relevant certifications in software testing or quality assurance are a plus.
