2+ years significant programming and data analytics experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience \n \n \nRequired Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: \n Strong SQL, SSIS, and SSRS technical skills \n \n Proficiency using programming languages & applications (SQL, .NET, MS Office, SSRS, Tableau, Python, R, and Machine Learning techniques) \n \n Knowledge of a variety of current and emerging technologies \n \n Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills \n \n Ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience \n \n Ability to work independently and in a team environment under deadline pressure \n

The Business Intelligence (BI) Developer is part of the Advancement Services and Analytics team within University Development and Alumni Relations (UDAR) and will participate in business analysis activities to gather reporting and dashboard requirements. Translate business requirements into technical specifications and develop reports and dashboards drawing from multiple data sources. Develop and implement project plans for reporting initiatives and other BI projects, including facilitating regular stakeholder meetings to provide status updates and ensure alignment. Collaborate with other specialists to convert legacy reports to SSRS, Tableau, or other new BI platforms, as appropriate. Transition developed reports and dashboards to respective teams and deliver training to support effective adoption and use. Provide ongoing support to maintain the availability, accuracy, and performance of developed reports and dashboards. Complete ad-hoc user requests while proactively identifying opportunities to enhance reporting processes, improve monitoring requests, and deliver value to stakeholders. \n \n UDAR encourages work-life integration for our employees, therefore this position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement. \n \n \nResponsibilities \n \n \nRequired Education: \n Bachelor’s degree \n \n, In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $77,400.00 to USD $94,600.00.
