nJob Summary \n: SEACORP is seeking a skilled Systems Integrator to join ahighly talented team responsible for design and delivery of Navy trainingsystems. The Systems Integrator will perform as an operating system,network, and a COTs hardware integration specialist. They will perform design activities to meet requirements and oversee thecreation of software and hardware products from initial specifications to finalrollout and maintenance. These products are sophisticated and consist of Linuxoperating systems, network operating systems and VLANs, virtual machines,containers, and Kubernetes management. The Systems Integrator is responsiblefor the construction of operating systems, application programs and hardwaredevices. They will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining thetraining system to ensure optimal performance and effectiveness for navalpersonnel. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, a creative problemsolver and able to work effectively within and/or lead a dynamic multi-teamenvironment performing the following types of tasks. \n \n Job Responsibilities Include: \n \n \n

  • Develop system architecture and design specifications to integrate AN/BYG-1 software and hardware components seamlessly into the shipboard training and readiness systems. \n
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design, develop, implement, and integrate a state-of-the-art training systems for the Navy. \n
  • Analyze and understand Navy training requirements to ensure the system meets operational needs effectively. \n
  • Develop technical approaches to achieve desired capabilities and ensure realistic training scenarios. \n
  • Conduct assessments measuring technical progress and effectiveness of plans in meeting requirements. Leverage use of Commercial-off-the-Shelf/Government-off-the-Shelf/Non-Developmental Items to support development efforts. \n

  • Perform Analysis of Alternatives to assess alternative options for design decisions. \n
  • Design mechanisms to ensure a cybersecurity resilient system. \n
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance during system deployment/installation, test, and training exercises for multiple platforms at various labs, sites, and shipboard locations. \n
  • Stay current with advancements in technology, Navy training methodologies, and industry best practices to continuously improve the training system. \n
  • Lead or attend Stand-up meetings, Technical Interchange Meetings, Integrated Product Teams, and Working Groups. \n, nWork Environment & Physical Demands: Office & Computer Laboratories - Sitting, standing, extended periods of time using a mouse and keyboard and viewing computer screens. Infrequent lifting of <40lbs. Movement between points within the same office or between buildings.
