IT Project Manager

We are looking for an IT Program Manager to lead a team of engineers and architects. The IT Program Manager will be responsible for managing the migration of a suite of commercial cloud applications and platform into the customer’s environment with regards to budget, technical constraints, operational requirements, and desired use case. The IT Program Manager will lead a team of solutions architects and cloud engineers in developing rapid prototypes of commercial cloud applications and determine for suitability of these applications in the customer’s environment.

Additionally, the IT Program Manager will be responsible for the following: 1) Collaborate with the customer, mission partners, and end users to elicit, document, and manage technical and functional requirements for the system; deconflict requirements and identify derived requirements 2) Develop and maintain the portfolio of cloud applications and commercial platforms on behalf of the customer 3) Execute enterprise strategic planning, develop technical roadmaps, engage with stakeholders in technical program management and strategic planning for the organization’s portfolio 4) Coordinate and participate in governance boards, working groups, and technical exchange meetings 5) Monitor progress, identify programmatic issues, and develop solutions 6) Support the adoption of Agile best practices to enable rapid deployment of applications into a test environment 7) Engage with a multi-disciplinary project team through all phases of the systems development lifecycle 8) Work with engineers and solutions architects to ensure secure and efficient IT infrastructure 9) Perform technical evaluations and analyses of solutions, applications, and products 10) Provide IT project management support and coordination on projects such as IT procurements and installation coordination and on larger cross-collaboration initiatives such as strategy and roadmap development 11) Coordinate and work on various organizational data calls with the Sponsor and across project teams and support reporting statuses to management

The following skills are required to be successful in this position: 1) 10+ years of experience managing large technical programs in the customer’s environment 2) Experience working with cloud billing interfaces 3) 10+ years of experience managing complex system requirements 4) 10+ years of experience defining business, technical, and data architectures and maintaining program artifacts 5) 8+ years of experience architecting cloud solutions in the customer’s environment 6) 5+ years of experience managing the development of new cloud applications 7) 5+ years of experience implementing Agile best practices 8) 5+ years of experience migrating commercial solutions into a classified environment 9) Experience with ticket management systems such as JIRA, Confluence, or ServiceNow 10)Experience with AWS and Azure
