Job description
You’ll take ownership of features from concept through to deployment, working closely with Product and Design and having a direct influence on the evolution of the platform.
What you’ll be doing
- Build and ship new product features, including AI-powered functionality and intelligent automation.
- Work across the stack using TypeScript, Node.js and React.
- Help shape technical direction and product decisions alongside Product and Design.
- Design and implement modular services and packages within a large-scale codebase.
- Own projects independently, from initial concept through production.
- Contribute to improving engineering standards, architecture and maintainability.
Requirements
- Strong professional experience building and maintaining complex web applications with TypeScript.
- Deep Node.js backend experience and strong React expertise.
- Experience working across the full stack rather than being purely frontend or backend focused.
- Comfortable taking ownership of projects and making technical decisions independently.
- Experience working in an agile, product-led environment.
- Strong communication skills in English.
Nice to have:
- AWS, Kubernetes or Terraform experience.
- CI/CD experience.
- Exposure to data engineering, AI or machine learning.
Benefits & conditions
- 100% remote within Germany or office-based in a major German city.
- Flexible working hours.
- Strong engineering culture with significant autonomy.
- Opportunity to work directly on AI-driven product development.
- The engineering culture is pragmatic and collaborative, with a strong emphasis on ownership, autonomy and quality rather than unnecessary process.
Why it’s interesting: this isn’t a traditional software engineering role where you’ll simply be delivering tickets. You’ll have genuine ownership across product, architecture and implementation, while working on the integration of AI into a product already operating at significant scale.
