The position partners with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Compliance to deliver a data-dense, accessible platform that drives subscription acquisition, conversion, and retention across professional and self-directed investor audiences. Advanced, practical use of AI tooling across discovery and production is a core expectation of the role.

Essential Job Duties

  • Lead end-to-end UX/UI design, including information architecture, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity interfaces.
  • Partner with Product, Marketing, and leadership to shape product vision, roadmap priorities, feature positioning, and target user experiences.
  • Translate subscriber research, competitive insights, behavioral analytics, and business feedback into actionable product and design recommendations.
  • Plan and conduct user research and testing, including interviews, usability testing, concept testing, surveys, and journey mapping.
  • Design intuitive, accessible experiences for complex financial data, including charts, screeners, watchlists, alerts, multi-pane layouts, and subscriber workflows.
  • Build and maintain a scalable design system and responsive experiences across web, tablet, mobile, and Webflow-based marketing pages.
  • Apply and standardize AI tools across research, ideation, content development, prototyping, and production while designing AI-assisted features responsibly.
  • Define and monitor design success metrics, including activation, adoption, conversion, and retention, using results to guide continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Compliance, Legal, and global design teams to ensure implementation quality, feasibility, regulatory alignment, accessibility, and successful delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Fine Arts, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of UX/UI design experience, including 2+ years in a senior or lead capacity designing complex, data-intensive products.
  • Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership across research, strategy, interaction design, and shipped user experiences with measurable outcomes.
  • Experience designing financial services or investment-related products and demonstrated understanding of investor research, screening, and trading workflows.
  • Experience designing subscription experiences across acquisition, onboarding, activation, conversion, and retention.
  • Advanced professional use of AI-enabled design tools and modern design platforms, including Figma, prototyping, and design systems.
  • Demonstrated expertise in data visualization and financial data conventions.
  • Demonstrated Webflow proficiency, including responsive production pages, CMS collections, and independent site maintenance.

Preferred Education, Experience, Certification/Licensure

  • Experience with technical analysis, fundamental screening, or institutional investment research workflows.
  • Experience designing products in regulated environments in partnership with Compliance and Legal.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, component frameworks, product analytics, and experimentation tools.
  • Experience supporting major product launches, replatforming, or migrations involving existing subscribers.
  • Personal experience with investing or trading.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Advanced interaction design, information architecture, visual design, and data visualization skills.
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills with the ability to translate evidence into design decisions.
  • Ability to influence product strategy and effectively communicate design rationale to technical, business, and executive stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of responsible AI use, data handling, compliance, sourcing, and disclosure considerations.
