We are on the lookout for a skilled SAP Payroll Implementation Specialist (Austria / DACH) to integrate into an industry-leading HR technology ecosystem. Operating entirely from your choice of location within Europe, you will serve as the crucial bridge connecting corporate end-users with technical engineering teams. You will drive the deployment lifecycle from inception to completion, morphing intricate commercial requirements into stable, high-performing SAP environments across the DACH territory. Core Responsibilities Strategic Consulting & Guidance: Steer corporate accounts through the chronological stages of the SAP Payroll deployment lifecycle. Facilitate discovery sessions to extract core business logic and outline technical prerequisites. System Optimization & Customization: Engineer scalable, robust, and glitch-free SAP HCM setups aligned with verified global methodology standards. Rigorous System Validation: Architect and deploy exhaustive functional and integration testing protocols using custom-tailored data sets to guarantee absolute alignment with client expectations. Technical Knowledge Transfer: Produce thorough functional Blueprints and technical runbooks for all customized system modifications to facilitate smooth handovers. Milestone Delivery & Reporting: Take ownership of personal timelines, balance project workloads under Cluster Lead supervision, and clearly articulate system health, core issue diagnoses, and eventual resolutions to stakeholders.
Requirements
An academic degree (BSc/MSc) focusing on Information Technology, Business Administration, or an equivalent combination of industry experience. Substantial, practical track record in SAP HCM system setup and functional software consulting. Active, hands-on contribution to a minimum of 3 SAP Payroll rollouts specific to the Austrian market. Advanced, practical mastery of Austrian labor law and payroll taxation rules, combined with a solid grasp of overall SAP HR data models. Native or professional mastery of German, coupled with proficient corporate communication skills in English. High analytical competence, a sharp troubleshooting toolkit, and unconditional dedication to strict data security standards.
