Job description

As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for transforming complex data into meaningful insights that support operational and strategic decision-making. Working with a variety of stakeholders, you’ll develop reports, dashboards, and analysis that help drive continuous improvement and enhance service delivery., * Producing regular and ad-hoc management information and performance reports

  • Extracting, cleansing, validating, and analysing data from multiple sources
  • Developing dashboards and data visualisations to communicate key insights
  • Identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities through detailed analysis
  • Supporting performance monitoring and reporting frameworks
  • Ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and quality across reporting outputs
  • Contributing to process improvements and reporting automation initiatives
  • Presenting insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

  • Previous experience within a Data Analyst, MI Analyst, Reporting Analyst, or Business Intelligence role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience extracting, manipulating, and presenting data
  • The ability to create clear reports, dashboards, and visualisations
  • Excellent attention to detail and data quality focus
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly

Desirable Skills

  • Power BI (including Power Query, DAX, data modelling, and report development)
  • SQL
  • Experience working within public sector, housing, customer services, or similarly regulated environments
  • Knowledge of performance reporting and KPI analysis
