Job description

The client is a software vendor who are growing quickly. In this role you will be focussed on outcomes rather than activity. You will use your knowledge of C++ (17 or higher) to build and maintain software. You will also contribute to a strong development culture through code reviews, standards, and mentoring., * Producing new software for products and services from end-to-end from design to delivery

  • Contribute to the design and ongoing maintenance of new and existing software
  • Deliver high level system designs
  • Collaborate across multiple technical teams and contribute to agile teams through stand-ups and sprint reviews

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ commercial experience of C++ 17 (preferably 20)
  • Ideal experience in a fast-paced or high-growth environment
  • Knowledge of Qt is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of XML, JSON, and RESTful APIs
  • Experience working on Linux and Windows systems
  • Experience with SQL-based database platforms
  • Strong problem solver
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
