Business Analyst with OBIEE and Google Looker

• The candidate will be part of the Finance Looker Transition team that is transitioning dashboards from Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) to Google Looker.
• This role involves in-depth engagement with business users to elicit and meticulously document business requirements, ensuring a seamless and effective migration to the Google Looker platform.

Essential Job Functions:

• Engage with business users to elicit comprehensive requirements for dashboard features, aesthetics, and data representation.
• Accurately document business needs, detailing data sources, key metrics, and any custom features to be transferred or optimized within Google Looker.
• Collaborate with data analysts and visualization specialists to convert business needs into precise technical specifications.
• Develop product wireframes.
• Facilitate meetings with business stakeholders related to validation and sign-off.
• Confirm the accuracy of migrated dashboards to business requirements through thorough quality assurance and user acceptance testing (UAT) coordination.
• Educate and assist business users in adopting the new Google Looker dashboards, facilitating a smooth transition and integration.
• Act as an intermediary between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure timely, transparent communication and a mutual understanding of the migration efforts.
• Keep diligent records of user input and revisions of the dashboards to support ongoing maintenance.
• Oversee the dashboard migration project from start to finish, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality benchmarks.

Must have : Business Analyst, Google Looker, Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE), Data Modelling Experience, * Bachelor s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

• Minimum of 2 or more years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong portfolio in dashboard development and data visualization projects.
• Prior experience with visualization tools (OBIEE, Google Looker, Tableau, PowerBi, or similar BI tools).
• Experience in the healthcare sector and knowledge of relevant data compliance regulations.
• Exceptional ability to document complex business requirements with clarity and precision.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large data sets.
• Able to collaborate and build relationships with stakeholders across multiple domains.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Preferred Skills and Abilities:

• Experience with SQL and understanding of data modeling and data engineering concepts.
• Epic Clarity Revenue Data Model certification highly preferred.
• Prior experience with Google Looker, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
