Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled QA Automation & Performance Test Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, functionality, and performance of enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in manual and automated testing, test case design, defect management, debugging, performance testing, and test data analysis., * Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts.

Perform functional, regression, API, exploratory, and performance testing.
Develop automation using Playwright, TypeScript, Java, k6, MCP, AI-assisted testing, or similar tools.
Translate business and functional requirements into effective test scenarios and test cases.
Identify, document, track, and help resolve defects.
Debug issues using Google DevTools, application logs, HTTP requests/responses, stack traces, and other diagnostic tools.
Design realistic performance and load test scenarios, including user journeys and data parameterization.
Perform database validation using relational and NoSQL databases.
Analyze test requirements, production data, quality risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.
Use tools such as Zephyr Scale, GitLab, Jira, or similar platforms for test and defect management.
Apply testing techniques such as Boundary Value Analysis, Equivalence Partitioning, and Exploratory Testing.
Proactively identify quality issues early in the SDLC.
Collaborate with developers, business teams, system personnel, and management.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of manual and automated testing principles.
Experience with Playwright, TypeScript, Java, and/or other scripting languages.
Experience with API, regression, functional, exploratory, and performance testing.
Experience with k6 or similar performance testing tools.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
Knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and NoSQL databases.
Knowledge of test data management and data governance.
Excellent communication, analytical, and collaboration skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
