Job description

Forsyth County’s Management Information Services (MIS) Department is looking to hire for an Oracle Cloud Administrator. The primary purpose of this position is to support the Oracle Cloud Fusion suite of modules (ERP, HCP and EPM). Key duties include managing security, troubleshooting, coordinating system upgrades and implementing configuration changes. The Oracle Cloud Administrator will manage Oracle security configurations including user roles, data access and security policies. Develop and maintain integrations between Oracle Fusion and other systems., Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Act as a liaison between functional teams and departments when issues arise in the Oracle Fusion application; collaborate closely with Finance, HR, Budget, Project Managers, external support, and other system users.

Support County wide departments with researching needs, gathering requirements for automation, conducting business process reviews, and assessing readiness for changes in business processes and software applications.

Identify high-level business and information system requirements; analyze, document, and recommend business process design based on work processes and operational controls by participating in projects to gather requirements, define goals, design, configure, test, and implement ERP related applications and workflows.

Continually evaluate business processes and workflows, policies and procedures and provide recommendations for automation into the County’s Oracle Fusion applications and input into improving system controls, reliability, and performance with a focus on error reduction and achieving operational efficiencies.

Administer, monitor, and maintain Oracle Fusion user access security and accounts; complete user access audits and evaluations within the system; troubleshoot and resolve any related problems.

Serve as an active member of project management teams identifying and gathering requirements and designs, configure, test, and implement Oracle Fusion related applications and workflows and reports.

Prepare test scenarios for applications during design, development, and implementation. Research, build, test, implement new system functionality, reports, and queries.

Requirements

Ability to do conceptual and detail planning to meet time objectives and to establish effective work schedules.

Demonstrated technical skill in implementing major Oracle Cloud Fusion suite of modules.

Knowledge of computer architecture and advanced data processing techniques and procedures.

Proficiency in using appropriate PC software packages, office support systems, and mid-range end-user tools.

Proficiency in advanced screen editor functions.

Knowledge of new technologies in hardware, software, communications, and systems development.

Considerable knowledge of appropriate diagnostic tools, standard utilities, communication protocols.

Knowledge of new technologies in hardware, software, and communications.

Considerable knowledge of Oracle Cloud processes, process modes, and controlling processing.

Knowledge of standard Oracle Cloud utilities and debugging techniques.

Ability to establish and maintain good intra departmental and interdepartmental working relationships.

Working knowledge of local government operations and federal/state grant and contract funding mechanisms.

Broad base of relevant technical knowledge and skills related to accounting and financial management and procurement systems, fund accounting experience desirable.

Good research, data management, and statistical analysis skills.

Detail oriented with excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.

Strong computer skills, including the ability to navigate and search the internet to retrieve information, learn new programs, create documents and reports, manage multi-formatted Work and Excel documents, and create and manage data visualization

Ability to build effective working relationships with diverse stakeholders, other government entities, and elected officials

Excellent documentation and time management skills

Ability to set, measure and report on project milestones and goals

Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Information Technology, Computer Engineering Technology, Information Systems, or closely related field. Three years or more years experience in increasingly responsible roles analyzing, implementing, and supporting Financial, HR, Budget, and Project Management workflows.

A drivers license is required.
