Job description

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software for mobile, fixed, embedded, and unmanned-system applications. Develop software supporting flight control, command and control, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, and mission-system integration. Create and integrate software that enables embedded hardware and printed circuit board solutions to operate aboard unmanned platforms. Develop production software using C, C++, Python, and object-oriented software-development practices. Build software from source and manage compilation, dependency, configuration, and deployment processes. Develop autonomous-navigation and path-planning capabilities, including waypoint navigation, geofencing, dynamic routing, obstacle avoidance, and collision detection. Integrate and configure BetaFlight, ArduPilot, PX4, and related autopilot or flight-control technologies. Integrate data from inertial measurement units, GPS receivers, cameras, LiDAR, and other sensors through sensor-fusion techniques. Develop or modify ground-control software supporting mission planning, execution, monitoring, and system administration. Work with QGroundControl and comparable ground-control applications. Develop operator interfaces using Qt, QML, or comparable graphical-interface frameworks. Implement and troubleshoot MAVLink communications between unmanned vehicles, payloads, and ground stations. Develop Python scripts for automation, data processing, analysis, system testing, and rapid prototyping. Configure and troubleshoot TCP/IP networking and system data-transport paths. Diagnose data-communications failures across software, firmware, network, and hardware boundaries. Analyze and reverse-engineer complex C++, Python, and embedded-system codebases to identify subtle defects. Develop test procedures, simulation tools, automated tests, and diagnostic utilities. Participate in agile development activities, including requirements refinement, sprint planning, demonstrations, code reviews, and release preparation. Support laboratory, ground, flight, and operational testing of integrated unmanned-system capabilities. Work directly with technicians, mechanical engineers, operators, and Government stakeholders to resolve integration issues. Prepare software documentation, configuration records, test reports, release notes, and technical recommendations. Support end users in administering operating systems and applications installed on locally manufactured printed circuit boards and embedded devices. Minimum profile
