Job description

  • Define the architecture of satellite Navigation / Communication payloads and determine their end-to-end performance
  • Write specifications for subsystems, including software, and assess compliance to requirements
  • Maintain system and performance budgets and contribute to the overall satellite/system ones
  • Trade-off architectures and suppliers
  • Plan verification of the payload and specify associated EGSE
  • Support test campaigns by analyzing measured payload performance and assessing impact of anomalies/non-conformances
  • Report to customer and senior management

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, Signal Processing, or comparable discipline
  • 10 years of professional experience in a relevant field
  • Strong background in satellite navigation payloads or transferable domains
  • Hands-on experience with payload architecture definition, from concept to detailed design and validation
  • Experience with simulation of satellite communication/navigation systems
  • Familiarity with System Engineering processes and related Software tools
  • Proficiency in relevant simulation tools
