Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems \n
  • Ten (10) years of professional experience with software engineering. \n
  • Experience with NoSQL/NewSQL data stores, the Scala, Rust, TypeScript programming languages. \n
  • Experience with visualization technologies and user-interface development, including HTML5/Javascript/CSS, CesiumJS, and associated toolsets such as Angular and React. \n
  • Experience with applying programming concepts in a professional or academic setting. \n
  • Clearance: Must be a US Citizen able to obtain a U.S. security clearance. \n, * Experience building and supporting continuous integration pipelines (e.g. DEVOPS/DEVSECOPS) in a professional or academic setting. \n
  • Agile Developer certification or Certified Scrum Developer certification with experience participating in and helping to lead day-to-day activities of a scrum team or other Agile software development team. \n
  • Experience with Big Data processing technologies such as Cassandra, Kafka, Spark, etc. \n
  • Experience with Kubernetes, REST, Docker and containerized microservices. \n
  • Experience in development and integration of software in an environment including multiple security domains and system-of-systems. \n
  • Experience with commercially available cloud computing service solutions such as Amazon Web Services (AWS). \n
  • Experience in development and sustainment of Linux based software development. \n
  • Demonstrated open-source contributor. \n

  • Mentor a de-centralized team of 5+ developers, applying agile methodologies within a larger 50+ member program. \n
  • Collaborate in an agile environment to design, develop, and deliver complex mission system software. \n
  • Own and deliver solutions built with Java, Scala, React, and other modern technologies. \n
  • Explore and apply new frameworks and languages such as Angular, Rust, or Scala to meet evolving mission needs. \n
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges with creativity and efficiency. \n
  • Make informed decisions even with limited information in dynamic, fast-paced environments. \n
  • Recognize when to adapt or pivot during implementation to ensure the best technical and mission outcomes. \n
  • Drive process improvements and introduce innovative workflows that enhance team performance. \n
  • Influence positive change through collaboration, initiative, and technical leadership. \n
  • Balance multiple priorities and adapt quickly to urgent or shifting requirements. \n
  • Communicate clearly across teams, stakeholders, and leadership. \n
