Requirements

8+ years of hands-on IT Reporting Data Analyst experience

  • 4+ years of reporting/data analysis experience within Property & Casualty Insurance
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Enterprise Data Warehouse experience
  • 3+ years of hands-on reporting tools experience
  • MicroStrategy, Power BI, Tableau, SSRS, or Oracle Analytics Cloud
  • Working knowledge of Guidewire
  • Working knowledge of Genius
  • Working knowledge of SAP
  • Understanding of Dimensional Modeling
  • Strong understanding of Enterprise Reporting concepts
  • Strong P&C Insurance knowledge across Policy, Claims, and Financials
  • Experience gathering and translating business reporting requirements
  • Experience creating and validating SQL queries and views
  • Experience supporting UAT and investigating data discrepancies

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Reinsurance experience
  • Experience with supplemental data sources such as HR/headcount
  • Regulatory and Data Governance experience
  • Experience educating business users on insurance data
  • Experience with Excel, flat files, data marts, and interim data solutions
