  • Develop a suite of connected products that work together across dashboards, data sources, and reporting outputs to give actuaries better visibility into trends and performance over time.
  • Create scalable approaches for retrieving, validating, transforming, and presenting premium, loss, catastrophe, and related actuarial data for internal users.
  • Partner with stakeholders to translate actuarial and business needs into practical technical solutions, interfaces, workflows, and implementation plans.

Solution Design and Cross-Functional Delivery

  • Develop a strong understanding of end-to-end business flows, system dependencies, data mappings, and supporting platforms involved in actuarial and product workflows.
  • Support software and solution design across multiple systems, including component interactions, APIs, data structures, integrations, and rollout planning.
  • Coordinate implementation tasks across partner teams, clarify requirements, identify dependencies, and help ensure high-quality delivery of prioritized features and enhancements.
  • Assist with production readiness activities such as scripting, configuration, metric and log review, and handoff support where needed.

Analysis, Reporting, and Business Partnership

  • Perform analysis that helps improve pricing, product performance, monitoring, and next-generation insurance product development.
  • Support actuarial teams with quarterly and ad hoc analyses, rate change support, and insight generation tied to growth and profitability objectives.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reporting outputs that make it easier to monitor indications, projections, trends, and other key business metrics.

Documentation, Enablement, and Team Leadership

  • Create and maintain clear technical and business documentation, knowledge bases, flow diagrams, and solution artifacts so teams can effectively support and scale the applications over time.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for the solution space by educating partners, clarifying design decisions, and reviewing implementation deliverables for completeness and quality.
  • Lead small to moderate scope projects independently and help shape future direction for actuarial tooling and workflow improvement.
  • Over time, help build and mentor a small team supporting this product suite, with an initial expectation to grow the function to approximately two direct reports.
