Job description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Systems Engineer - TS/SCI Full Scope Polygraph to support a secure data center environment in the Annapolis, MD area. The Systems Engineer - TS/SCI Full Scope Polygraph role requires to work standard business hours in the SCIF Monday - Friday. The ideal candidate for the Systems Engineer - TS/SCI Full Scope Polygraph will have strong experience in Linux and Windows systems engineering and network administration, supporting large enterprise environments.

Responsibilities for the Systems Engineer - TS/SCI Full Scope Polygraph include:

  • Oversee, troubleshoot, and manage network activity for large enterprise customer data networks
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to support customer project requests
  • Provide high-level technical expertise for LAN and WAN environments
  • Recommend improvements to network and systems performance, efficiency, and security, Keywords: Systems Engineer, Linux Network Engineer, Network Administrator, RHEL, Linux, Windows, Cisco, ASA, Router, Switches

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph
  • 3+ years of systems and network administration/engineering experience
  • Strong experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
  • Knowledge of key networking technologies and protocols including EIGRP, BGP, SD-WAN, and MPLS
  • Experience with WAN, LAN, firewalls, and Cisco router/switch configuration
  • Proficiency in both Linux and Windows environments
  • Previous experience with VMware, including building and deploying virtual machines
