Job description
Our client is seeking a PeopleSoft ERP Analyst to support, enhance, and maintain a complex enterprise ERP environment across PeopleSoft HCM and Financials. This role combines hands-on technical development and production support with close partnership across HR, Finance, and technical teams, while also contributing to system modernization efforts and preparation for a future ERP transition., * Provide technical development and ongoing support for PeopleSoft HCM and FSCM applications, maintaining system reliability, performance, and functionality.
- Troubleshoot complex application and production issues, perform root cause analysis, and partner with internal teams and third-party support resources to implement sustainable solutions.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain PeopleSoft customizations, enhancements, interfaces, and integrations using PeopleTools and related technologies.
- Partner with HR, Finance, and other business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate functional needs into effective technical solutions.
- Support the full application lifecycle, including technical design, development, testing, implementation, production support, patching, and maintenance.
- Coordinate and support PeopleSoft upgrades and updates, including PeopleTools releases, PUM images, patches, and tax or regulatory changes.
- Develop and maintain operational and business reporting using BI Publisher, PS Query, nVision, and related reporting tools.
- Evaluate application performance, system health, and existing processes to identify opportunities for improved scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
- Support workflow, approval, and integration processes across the PeopleSoft environment.
- Contribute technical knowledge and PeopleSoft expertise as the organization evaluates and prepares for future ERP modernization initiatives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of technical experience supporting, developing, and enhancing PeopleSoft ERP environments, preferably involving both HCM and FSCM.
- Strong PeopleSoft development experience with SQL and technologies such as PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQR, or similar PeopleTools capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose complex application issues, conduct root cause analysis, and address system performance or production problems.
- Experience gathering business requirements and translating functional needs into technical designs and solutions.
- Experience supporting the software development lifecycle within a PeopleSoft ERP environment, including development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Experience with PeopleSoft reporting technologies such as BI Publisher, PS Query, and nVision.
- Ability to work effectively with both technical teams and functional stakeholders across areas such as HR and Finance.
- Strong communication, facilitation, problem-solving, and change management skills.
- Ability to operate independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.
Preferred:
- Experience working with or supporting Workday ERP environments or ERP migration initiatives.
- Experience with cloud-hosted PeopleSoft environments, including platforms such as AWS.
- Familiarity with PeopleSoft Component Interface and other integration technologies.
- Experience developing or supporting workflow automation and approval processes within PeopleSoft.
