Job description

Python + Java Developer

CICD,DevOps,IT operations,Java,MBaaS,Python,REST API’s,SQL,agile ceremonies,architecture,business logic layer,code review,coding convention,computer science,data integration,data structures,design patterns,engineering,information technology,relational da US C2 ID-FSNA ‘Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and deploy applications using Python and Java technologies.Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices. Develop backend services, business logic, and integration components. Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and product teams to gather and analyze requirements. Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices. Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to security and performance standards. Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in development, testing, and production environments. Develop and optimize SQL queries, database objects, and data integration processes. Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos. Create technical documentation, design specifications, and operational procedures. Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation initiatives.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. 5+ years of software development experience. Strong programming experience in: Python Java (Java 8/11/17+) Experience with object-oriented programming and design patterns. Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles. Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs. Hands-on experience with relational databases and SQL.’

Benefits & conditions

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: 105,000 - 115,000

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
