  • Execute approved changes, maintenance activities, and after-hours change-window work when required.
  • Coordinate with carriers, vendors, field technicians, and internal IT teams to resolve issues.
  • Provide clear status updates to internal customers and set appropriate expectations.
  • Maintain accurate network diagrams, configurations, ticket notes, procedures, and operational documentation.
  • Escalate complex or high-impact issues appropriately while continuing to drive resolution.
  • Identify recurring issues and recommend practical operational improvements.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, trunking, STP, routing, NAT, ACLs, VPNs, QoS, DHCP, and DNS.
  • Experience troubleshooting network issues using CLI tools, logs, packet captures, and monitoring platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to install, rack, cable, stage, configure, and replace network equipment and wireless access points.
  • Experience working with ticketing systems, incident management, change control, and service-level expectations.
  • Strong customer-service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a technically demanding enterprise environment.
  • Willingness to participate in scheduled maintenance windows and occasional after-hours support.
