Job description
As an Integration and Automation Engineer, you’ll be the technical powerhouse behind our client projects. Your responsibility will be to design, build and maintain integrations that enable enterprise systems to communicate efficiently, securely, and at scale. You’ll also collaborate with multiple stakeholders to streamline and automate business processes., * Design, develop, and test complex integration scenarios using leading iPaaS platforms and resilient integration patterns.
- Model and optimize business processes, working with business analysts to translate requirements into automated workflows.
- Lead integration-centered projects and architectures, including API Management, Data Integration, Application Integration, EDA, and B2B Integration.
- Work with a diverse range of clients, including public sector organizations and international enterprises. Always taking a pragmatic approach.
- Grow as an expert by focusing on knowledge, absorbing the experience from peers, and actively contributing to the i8c community.
Requirements

You have a genuine passion for technology and innovation, and you turn that energy into meaningful results for clients. You thrive on advising clients, steering them through technical decisions and implementations.
What do you bring to the table?
- Problem-solving mindset with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with leading integration/iPaaS platforms Workato, Boomi, MuleSoft, etc.).
- In-depth knowledge of APIs REST, SOAP, GraphQL, etc.), messaging technologies JMS, AMQP, Kafka, etc.), and other integration patterns.
- Track record integrating large enterprise IT systems SAP, Dynamics, NetSuite, Salesforce, etc.).
- Experience in one or more cloud platforms Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Fluent in English. (Dutch and/or French is a plus).
Nice to have:
- Experience with Kubernetes and DevOps Technologies.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience in business process modeling and automation.
What will you be doing?
You primary focus will be designing and implementing robust integration solutions, but your role extends beyond coding. You will also work closely with business stakeholders to align on process requirements and design business automation solutions.
