Job description

Montaigne Hong Kong is looking for an IT Operations Manager to lead our regional IT infrastructure operations, drive process standardization, and manage the local infrastructure team.

This position is operationally responsible for the implementation, availability, integrity, and security of all technology infrastructures : including data centers, cloud services, networks, and server systems.

It will report directly to the APAC IT Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Team Leadership & Culture: Lead, mentor, and manage the local IT Infrastructure team, fostering a transparent, collaborative, and high-performance work environment.

· Process Standardization: Drive IT service management transformation by implementing and enforcing ITIL-based practices, formalizing incident and problem management, and building comprehensive, documented standard operating procedures.

· Infrastructure Operations: Oversee day-to-day operations of technology infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, telephony, data backup, and user support/helpdesk for local and regional users.

· Knowledge Management & Continuity: Partner closely with internal technical subject matter experts to capture, document, and cross-train on critical institutional infrastructure knowledge, mitigating single-point-of-failure risks.

· Vendor & Governance Management: Manage local vendor relationships, service level agreements (SLAs), and operational governance while aligning closely with global IT corporate standards.

· Regional Collaboration: Liaise effectively with IT teams in APAC subsidiaries (such as Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Thailand, and Indonesia) and Headquarters in Europe to ensure operational alignment, compliance, and shared infrastructure standards.

· Administrative & Financial Oversight: Oversee infrastructure procurement, budget tracking, vendor invoice management, and audit/compliance workflows.

· IT Security & Compliance: Ensure the operational security, integrity, and availability of all regional IT systems, data, and infrastructure. Oversee and enforce best practices in network and system security, implement comprehensive disaster recovery and backup operations, and ensure full alignment with regulatory compliance requirements and corporate security guidelines.

Requirements

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:· Minimum of 10 years of total IT experience, including 5+ years in a production, high-availability enterprise environment covering infrastructure, systems, and network operations. · Demonstrated strong people management skills, with proven experience in conflict resolution, team coaching. · ITIL certification (e.g., ITIL Foundation or Managing Professional) will be valued, with a proven track record of introducing process maturity and service desk standardization.· Solid working knowledge of Microsoft enterprise stacks, Azure/cloud environments, and Cisco-based network communication technologies. · Good communication skills in English and Cantonese ; ability to bridge gaps across diverse corporate and regional cultures. · Direct experience in vendor management, IT compliance, and disaster recovery architecture, · Minimum of 10 years of total IT experience, including 5+ years in a production, high-availability enterprise environment covering infrastructure, systems, and network operations.
