The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating UI behavior, end-to-end functionality, and performance across cloud environments, ensuring high-quality delivery in an agile DevOps model.This role requires strong understanding of Pega’s front?end capabilities, cloud deployment nuances, and modern QA engineering practices.2. Key Responsibilities - list what the person will be doing on a day to day basis:% of timeManual TestingDesign, develop, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and user workflows for Pega Cloud-hosted FE applications for the BFS Domain (Insurance, KYC, CRM).Test cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.Conduct functional, regression, UI/UX testing.Ensure testing across Pega Cloud environments following deployment pipelines.Identify, track, and retest defects using tools like Jira and Zephyr.Automation TestingBuild and maintain automated test scripts for Pega FE using frameworks such as:Selenium WebDriver with Java and TestNG.Analyze automation execution reports and provide actionable feedback.Exposure and knowledge to GIT. Experience with GitHub and actions.Experience with REST APIs using Postman, Rest Assured or similar.Quality Engineering & DevOpsParticipate in Agile ceremonies with SAFe: sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives.Collaborate with developers, Pega architects, and cloud engineers to troubleshoot defects and environment issues.Contribute to test strategy, quality standards, and automation best practices.Promote shift-left testing and early defect detection.3.
