Job description
- Design, build, enhance, and maintain complex Alteryx workflows, applications, and macros.
- Develop ETL/ELT pipelines supporting analytics, reporting, forecasting, and financial processes.
- Support automated data extractions and transformations across multiple enterprise systems.
- Build and maintain integrations with systems such as Workday, Adaptive Insights, Tableau, PostgreSQL, and REST endpoints.
- Implement secure authentication, error handling, and integration monitoring.
- Support analytics solutions across multi-environment Alteryx Server instances (DEV, UAT, PROD).
- Work with cloud services including AWS S3, EC2, RDS/Aurora, Lambda, Glue, networking, and IAM to build and scale data solutions.
- Build and support workflows that enable cost accounting-based forecasting, cost allocation cycles, budgeting activities, and pricing models.
- Ensure data accuracy, traceability, and reliability across financial analytics and planning workflows.
- Serve as an escalation point for workflow failures, data quality issues, and production incidents.
- Perform unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
- Create SOPs, architectural diagrams, implementation guides, test documentation, and troubleshooting playbooks.
- Configure and maintain role-based access controls.
- Support SSO/MFA and secure identity practices.
- Follow data handling, encryption, and compliance standards.
- Maintain metadata, data lineage documentation, and data standards.
- Support metric development, governance reviews, and reporting consistency.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accuracy across analytics outputs.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Work collaboratively with architects, developers, cloud engineers, and product owners.
- Deliver enhancements iteratively and adapt to changing requirements.
- Support platform releases, environment updates, and Alteryx Server upgrades.
- Follow structured change-management processes and maintain readiness documentation.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Alteryx Designer (workflows, macros, automation).
- Experience with Alteryx Server (scheduling, permissions, monitoring).
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Experience with REST APIs and integration patterns.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and data services.
- Strong understanding of ETL, data modeling, data warehousing, and data quality practices.
- Bachelor s degree in a relevant field.
- Alteryx Designer certifications.
- Familiarity with additional cloud services such as AWS Lambda, Glue, and Aurora., * Experience with Workday, Adaptive Insights, Tableau, or similar tools.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, or related tooling.
- Experience with cost modeling or financial analytics.
