Job description

Cydecor is seeking an AI & Advanced Analytics Engineer to design, develop, and deploy advanced data science, artificial intelligence, and analytics solutions supporting Science & Technology (S&T) and defense mission analysis. This role focuses on building scalable data pipelines and analytical tools that enable impact analysis of S&T investments on military capabilities within a Federal and Department of the Workforce (DoW) environment., * Design and develop advanced data science tools and analytical solutions supporting S&T and defense capability analysis

  • Build and maintain data pipelines for streaming and batch processing to cleanse, standardize, normalize, and enrich incoming datasets
  • Develop, train, and deploy artificial intelligence and machine learning models to support analytical use cases
  • Conduct impact analysis evaluating the effects of S&T investments on military capabilities
  • Apply advanced analytical techniques including clustering, topic modeling, NLP, geospatial analysis, and network analysis
  • Develop solutions for entity disambiguation, relationship extraction, bibliometric and citation analysis, and S&T forecasting
  • Support automated query generation and advanced data exploration workflows
  • Develop and maintain distributed computing codebases using Python, R, and additional analytical programming languages
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate mission requirements into scalable analytics solutions
  • Document methodologies, models, and code in accordance with Federal standards and best practices

Requirements

  • Five (5) years of experience in data science
  • Two (2) years of experience developing data science tools supporting S&T and defense capabilities
  • Two (2) years of experience developing data science tools to perform impact analysis of S&T investments on military capabilities in or for a Department of the Workforce (DoW) organization
  • Experience developing data pipelines for streaming and batch processing to support data cleansing, standardization, normalization, and enrichment
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing artificial intelligence and machine learning models
  • Experience in at least three (3) of the following analytical areas:
  • Clustering and topic modeling
  • Automated query generation
  • Natural language processing (NLP) of unstructured data
  • Geospatial analysis
  • Entity disambiguation
  • Network analysis
  • Bibliometric and citation analysis
  • Econometric analysis
  • Relationship extraction
  • Science & Technology (S&T) forecasting
  • Experience developing code for distributed computing using Python, R, and at least two to four additional comparable programming languages

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, or a related field
  • Experience with Elastic Search/Kibana, Neo4j, and similar cloud-based data environments
  • Experience supporting Federal or defense-focused analytics programs

Security Clearance:

  • Active Secret Clearance

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, or a related field preferred

The projected compensation range for this position is $130,000-$184,000.
