Senior SAP Project Manager

Hybrid Responsible for Responsibility for the successful delivery of complex SAP projects through to go-live, including the management of budgets, timelines, quality, and available resources, as well as technical and disciplinary leadership of the project team., For our client, I am looking for an experienced professional to join their team as a Senior SAP Project Manager (m/f/d). This position combines the management of complex SAP projects with both technical and disciplinary leadership responsibilities, as well as direct interaction with customers and management.

In addition to overall project responsibility, you will have the opportunity to further develop existing project standards and processes and contribute your own ideas. We are looking for someone who can confidently manage SAP projects, take ownership, and maintain a clear overview even in challenging project situations.

• Managing budgets, timelines, quality, and available resources
• Providing technical and disciplinary leadership to the project team
• Coordinating customers, business departments, IT teams, and external partners
• Further developing project management standards, methodologies, and processes
• Identifying project risks at an early stage and initiating appropriate measures
• Advising customers and management on relevant project decisions
• Supporting SAP transformation and digitalization initiatives
• Contributing to proposals, customer presentations, and presales activities
• Ensuring project acceptance and a structured handover into operations

• University degree, e.g. in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience managing SAP projects
• Experience in both technical and disciplinary leadership of employees
• Solid practical experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations and common implementation methodologies, particularly SAP Activate
• Good understanding of SAP processes and their underlying business context
• Confident appearance and clear communication at customer and management level
• Independent and pragmatic approach to work, even in complex project situations
• Residence in Germany required due to the employment contract
• Fluent in English with basic knowledge of German
