Job description
If you are driven with a desire for continuous learning and development, our DevSecOps Engineer position may be for you! In this role you will:
- Integrate automated security scanning tools (SAST, DAST, SCA) directly into CI/CD pipelines to detect vulnerabilities early.
- Write and enforce codified security policies for cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), ensuring resources are provisioned securely.
- Ensure infrastructures are protected from threats and attacks.
- Partner with development teams to rapidly identify, contain, and resolve live security incidents or misconfigurations.
- Monitor threats, perform regular risk assessments, and prioritize the patching of security flaws before releases.
- Educate developers on secure coding practices and provide reusable patterns and libraries for quicker, safer builds. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
- Work with customers to construct intelligent systems that evolve and adapt to ever changing security threats.
- Assist our Senior Software Developer/Architect in building artificial intelligence systems to create models trained on data sets that can predict and adapt to outcomes and security threats.
- Build high-quality, innovative and high-performing software that complies with coding standards, technical design and industry regulations.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Software engineering?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional software development or programming experience.
- Demonstrated experience with proprietary and open source Artificial Intelligence Models.
- Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP).
- Commercial Cloud Service Offerings- Demonstrated experience navigating, building on, or managing third-party cloud computing platforms.
- DevSecOps pipelines for Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) workflows.
- Ability to obtain/maintain a federal security clearance.
- Experience developing for embedded systems and Linux+ and/or Security+ certifications preferred but not required.
- Systems programming experience using Python, Java, Rust, C++, SQL desired.
