Job description
The \nSr. Configuration Management Analyst is responsible for product design changes and the effects of the overall system. Duties include ensuring configuration identification by reviewing design release documents for completeness and proper authorizations for data that is created from internal projects or supplied by the customer. Sr. Configuration Analyst will work independently to develop solutions to complex technical issues and problems that impact multiple areas or disciplines. Sr. Configuration Analyst will provide project support in creating/reviewing contents of CDRL’s, SDRL’s, item records, change records and other items in a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system. Sr. Configuration Analyst will be responsible for executing Configuration and Data Management processes and controls; ensuring company policies and procedures are implemented in accordance with industry standards and customer requirements. Sr. Configuration Analyst will write and maintain documents such as CM corporate policies, Configuration Management plans, Project Configuration Forms, program Access Control lists, desktop instructions, CM work instructions and audit forms. Sr. Configuration Analyst will oversee CM team members regarding solution design, process and/or approaches. Sr. Configuration Analyst will support tasks in a dynamic environment, working closely with the CM, engineering, manufacturing, quality, other teams, and the customer and/or external contacts to support products throughout their lifecycle. Sr. Configuration Analyst will be expected to work on site for a minimum of 4+ days a week. \n \n
Requirements
u2022 Requires a 4 year degree in a relevant applicable field and 8+years of prior relevant experience; additional education, experience or training will be considered in lieu of degree. \n \u2022 Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area. \n \u2022 Candidate must have detailed knowledge of and ability to apply standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques of technical domain and develops solutions to complex technical issues and problems that impact multiple area or disciplines. \n \u2022 Candidate must have detailed knowledge and experience in configuration change management principles and record types. \n \u2022 Candidate must have detailed knowledge of mechanical, electrical, software and other CM practices as detailed in SAE EIA-649 (series and associated handbooks), ASME Y14 (series), ISO 9001, MIL-STD-31000, MIL-HDBK-61, DODM 5200.01 (series), DODI 5200.48 etc. \n \u2022 Candidate must have detailed knowledge and a minimum of five (5) years’ experience using Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools. (Agile PLM, Oracle Agile, PTC Windchill, Dassault ENOVIA, Siemens Teamcenter, Aras, etc.) \n \u2022 Candidate must have detailed knowledge of bill of materials, technical documents, product drawings, schematics, diagrams and specifications. \n \u2022 Candidate must have detailed knowledge of Computer Aided Design (CAD) software such as CREO, Solidworks, etc. \n \u2022 Candidate must have detailed knowledge of Product Data Management (PDM) systems such as Windchill, Solidworks PDM Pro, etc. \n \u2022 Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft office products (primarily Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Visio experience is a plus) \n \u2022 Candidate must be proficient in Adobe PDF editing software or equivalent \n \u2022 Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft SharePoint collaboration software \n \u2022 Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams, customer representatives and external contacts. \n \u2022 Strong organizational skills, detail oriented and excellent written/verbal communication skills. \n \u2022 Ability and willingness to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance. (U.S. Citizenship is required) \n \n, u2022 NDIA CDM, CMII or other Configuration Management/Data Management certification \n
