Requirements
We are seeking experienced Enterprise VDI / Cloud Infrastructure Engineers to support the design, deployment, administration, and sustainment of a large-scale, multi-domain Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environment integrating VMware ESXi/vSphere, Omnissa Horizon, 10ZiG thin/zero clients, Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft 365., * 5+ years of experience with IT and infrastructure
- 3+ years of experience working with VDI architectures
- Enterprise administration of VMware ESXi, vSphere/vCenter, and Horizon
- Experience deploying and supporting Horizon desktop pools, Connection Servers, Unified Access Gateways (UAG), Horizon Agents, and virtual desktop images
- Strong Windows Server/Desktop and Active Directory administration, including DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and domain/trust relationships
- Experience with Azure infrastructure and networking, including VNets, subnets, NSGs, routing, and hybrid connectivity
- Strong troubleshooting skills across virtualization, networking, identity, storage, and Windows environments
- Experience with enterprise endpoint technologies, preferably 10ZiG or similar thin/zero-client platforms
- Ability to develop and maintain automation using PowerShell and/or other scripting languages
- CompTIA Security + certification
- Top Secret Security Clearance
Preferred Experience:
- Azure VMware Solution (AVS) and ExpressRoute
- Omnissa Horizon 8, App Volumes, Dynamic Environment Manager, and Blast Extreme
- Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365, including Conditional Access, MFA, Intune, Teams, OneDrive, and Office deployment
- VMware NSX, vSAN, enterprise storage, load balancing, and firewall technologies
- Terraform, Ansible/AWX, Git, REST APIs, and Infrastructure-as-Code
- PKI/certificate management, enterprise security controls, monitoring, backup/DR, and high-availability architectures
- Experience designing or supporting multi-domain/multi-forest enterprise environments
Ideal Candidate: The strongest candidates will bring a broad end-to-end infrastructure perspective, understanding how the user experience flows from the 10ZiG endpoint through the network, Horizon/UAG, VMware infrastructure, Windows/Active Directory, Azure, and Microsoft 365. Candidates who combine deep expertise in one or more of these technologies with practical experience integrating the broader enterprise environment are highly encouraged to apply.
