Job description

We are seeking a Cyber Solutions Architect / Engineer with deep Azure and Microsoft environment experience to evaluate current security posture, identify gaps, and drive remediation. This role is ideal for an architect-level professional who can quickly come into an environment, diagnose issues, and design Azure-aligned security solutions-moving from assessment to implementation with strong autonomy., * Evaluate the organization’s Azure and Microsoft security environment and current practices to determine effectiveness and risk.

  • Design a remediation roadmap and lead architectural improvements to establish or refine security best practices.
  • Architect and implement security controls and configurations to strengthen protection across the Azure environment.
  • Partner with internal teams to prioritize fixes, remove blockers, and drive adoption of recommended architectural practices.
  • Identify and remediate vulnerabilities and misconfigurations, ensuring solutions are scalable, sustainable, and measurable.
  • Document architectural decisions, findings, and implemented changes to support ongoing security operations and governance.

Requirements

  • Strong experience designing and improving security architectures in Azure and enterprise Microsoft ecosystems.
  • Proven ability to assess security posture, identify control gaps, and architect remediation solutions aligned to best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure security services (e.g., Azure AD/Entra ID, identity and access management, threat detection, and security hardening).
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft security tooling and architecture (e.g., Defender suite, Sentinel, Purview) and operational best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of security architecture improvements from discovery through execution.
  • Excellent communication skills to translate technical findings into actionable architectural guidance for stakeholders.
