Role Responsibilities

As a Solutions Architect, you will support our business by ensuring seamless integration between client systems and Bloomberg applications, using XML/FIX messaging and APIs. You will work closely with clients to implement solutions efficiently, adhering to timelines and regulatory requirements, and supporting various protocols such as FIX, MQ, TCP/IP, SFTP, and Web APIs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, test, and lead implementation projects with clients and internal teams.
  • Engage with clients to understand workflows and needs.
  • Develop data transformation middleware supporting real-time and batch processing via Bloomberg iPaaS.
  • Support messaging protocols including XML, FIX, FpML, SWIFT, MQ, TCP/IP, SFTP, Web APIs, WebSocket, and ODBC.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize performance and ensure compliance.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years in a technical role within financial institutions or vendors, with experience in front office technologies.
  • Knowledge of capital markets workflows for buy-side and sell-side.
  • Proficiency with MQ, SFTP, Web API, SWIFT, FIX.
  • Experience with ETL workflows and XML/XSLT data transformations.
  • Ability to manage client expectations and projects independently.

Preferred Skills

  • Programming skills in Python and experience with code repositories.
  • Experience with data analytics tools like Snowflake, PowerBI, Qlik.
  • Familiarity with WebAPI tools such as Postman.
  • AWS and Azure foundational certifications.
  • Proficiency in additional European languages.
