Remote Solution Architect - Java, AWS, AI/ML

Salary - £100,000 + 10% Bonus + Benefits

Location - London, Remote (once a month)

With ambitious growth plans to expand its platform and support a rapidly growing international client base, this role is critical to shaping the company’s technical and strategic future.

We’re hiring a Solution Architect with deep expertise in microservices, AWS cloud technologies, and financial systems. This is a key opportunity to help design and implement scalable, secure, and innovative solutions in a dynamic, agile environment. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, product, and business teams to drive impactful change.

Key Responsibilities

Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into robust technical solutions
Design scalable, secure, and resilient microservices architectures on AWS
Develop and implement effective API strategies and system integrations
Provide technical leadership and mentorship across the development lifecycle

Required Skills

Solid experience with microservices architecture (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Spring Boot, Java, Python)
Deep knowledge of AWS cloud services - including EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway, and IAM
Strong experience working with Kafka for event-driven and streaming systems
Proficiency in API development, RESTful principles, and using API management platforms
Demonstrated success delivering solutions in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)

Bonus Skills

Exposure to AI/ML technologies, including experience with Amazon SageMaker and Amazon Bedrock
Understanding of deploying, managing, and integrating ML models within production systems
