Platform Engineer

Hybrid in Edinburgh

Full-time

I’m working with a leading Legal Tech firm who are looking for a Platform Engineer to join their Infrastructure Engineering team in central Edinburgh.

You’ll play a key role in shaping, maintaining, and scaling their cloud infrastructure, building automation and tooling to empower developers, and helping drive a “build it, run it” culture across the business.

What you’ll be doing

Collaborate with development teams on architecture, scalability, and security.
Build automation tools and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD).
Manage infrastructure across AWS and Kubernetes.
Improve observability and monitoring with Grafana Cloud.
Implement cost and performance optimisations.
Champion best practices around infrastructure security.

What they’re looking for

Strong experience with AWS and/or Kubernetes.
Background in Java, Python, or Go.
Hands-on with Terraform, Docker, or Helm.
Familiar with tools like ArgoCD, Crossplane, Karpenter, or Kyverno.
Confident working in Linux environments with strong scripting skills.

Hybrid - 2 days per week in Edinburgh

Hybrid work arrangement requiring two days on-site in Edinburgh.

Requirements
