Requirements

We are seeking a highly experienced Connected Systems Engineer with 10+ years of experience designing, developing, and deploying connected, data-driven industrial systems that integrate factory-floor operations with enterprise and cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Industrial IoT (IIoT), edge computing, cloud connectivity, industrial automation protocols, and OT/IT convergence, with the ability to architect scalable and secure connected solutions., * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.

10+ years of experience in Industrial IoT (IIoT), industrial software engineering, or connected systems development.
Strong programming experience in Python, C++, or Go.
Extensive hands-on experience with industrial communication protocols including OPC UA, Modbus, MQTT, and Sparkplug B.
Strong experience with one or more major cloud IoT platforms such as AWS IoT, Microsoft Azure IoT, or Google Cloud IoT.
Hands-on experience with edge computing platforms such as AWS Greengrass or Azure IoT Edge.
Strong understanding of OT/IT integration, industrial networking, data acquisition, and enterprise integration architectures.
Experience designing secure, scalable, and highly available connected industrial systems.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience designing and implementing digital twin solutions.
Hands-on experience with predictive maintenance, AI/ML, or advanced analytics for industrial environments.
Experience with time-series databases such as InfluxDB or TimescaleDB.
Familiarity with Unified Namespace (UNS) architectures and event-driven industrial systems.
Knowledge of industrial cybersecurity standards such as IEC 62443.
