Data Analytics, Senior Advisor

Incident Management Team Expected Participation: Employees are expected to support emergency response and/or business continuity efforts, including readiness to serve on an Incident Management Team (IMT) when needed. Employees will participate in an on-call rotation (approximately every four to six weeks), to support IMT activations during emergency events. IMT assignments may differ from an individual’s regular responsibilities., * Performs the most complex data analysis from various sources, such as databases, spreadsheets, APIs, or data warehouses and ensures data integrity by cleaning and preprocessing it to remove errors, inconsistencies, or missing values that could a?ect the accuracy of analysis.

• Uses statistical and analytical techniques to explore and examine data; applies various methods like descriptive statistics, data mining, predictive modeling, and machine learning algorithms to identify patterns, relationships, and trends within the data.
• Transforms complex data into visual representations such as charts, graphs, and dashboards; visualizations provide a clear and concise way to present insights and ?ndings to stakeholders, enabling them to understand the information easily and make data-driven decisions.
• Creates reports and summaries that e?ectively communicate their analysis and ?ndings to non-technical audiences; reports often include key metrics, data visualizations, and actionable recommendations that help stakeholders understand the implications of the data and make informed decisions.
• Derives actionable insights from the data analysis process by interpreting the results and understanding the business context; provides valuable insights that drive strategic decision-making, optimize processes, improve performance, and identify opportunities for growth.
• Monitors data quality, tracks performance metrics, and analyzes new data continuously to ensure that insights remain relevant and accurate over time.
• Evaluates and improves data analytics methodologies and processes to enhance e?ciency and e?ectiveness. Works closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, business analysts, and stakeholders from different departments. Collaborates to de?ne analytical objectives, align data analysis with business needs, and communicate insights e?ectively.
• Mentors and guides other data analysts.
• A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, ?nancial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, con?dential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity., * This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. • Ten or more years of experience in data analysis.
• Experience using a variety of data tools and software.

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience using SQL, SAS, Python, or similar analytical languages to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets, develop customer insights, and answer complex business questions through advanced queries and statistical analysis.
• 3+ years of experience working with Snowflake and/or other cloud-based data platforms, including data exploration, analytical data modeling, query optimization, and supporting large-scale analytics initiatives.
• 2+ years of experience building and leveraging Generative AI (GenAI) tools and/or AI-powered analytics solutions to accelerate insight generation, automate analysis, identify patterns, and translate data into actionable business recommendations.
• Hands-on experience delivering solutions in at least two of the following areas: customer segmentation, propensity modeling, forecasting, and root-cause analysis.
