Job description
This track is designed for individuals who are passionate about cybersecurity, enterprise technology, and operational excellence and want to grow into future technology leaders responsible for securing and enabling the business., * Cybersecurity & Identity Management - Help protect enterprise systems through identity and access management, privileged access controls, security monitoring, vulnerability management, and security governance activities.
- Infrastructure & Network Services - Support the enterprise infrastructure, networks, and technology services that enable employees, manufacturing facilities, and business operations across Polaris.
- Technology Compliance & Risk Management - Partner with teams responsible for cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, IT controls, audits, and risk management initiatives, including standards such as SOX, CMMC, and other regulatory requirements.
- Enterprise Platforms & Service Management - Support and enhance enterprise technology platforms while improving asset management, service delivery, operational processes, and technology visibility.
- IT Operations & Continuous Improvement - Contribute to initiatives focused on automation, process optimization, operational excellence, system reliability, and delivering a positive technology experience for employees.
- Infrastructure Project & Technology Leadership - Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to plan, prioritize, and execute technology initiatives that support enterprise objectives and drive business value.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT Infrastructure, Cybersecurity or other related business degree with a graduation date between August 2026 and May 2027.
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0
- Must be able to commit to working 40 hours per week starting on one of the following dates:January 11th, 2027 or June 14th, 2027.
- Must be a U.S. person (U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee) and not require sponsorship for employment now or in the future.
- Must have reliable transportation for daily commuting to and from the office.
- Must be willing to travel and relocate between sites for your rotations, as well as be mobile beyond the rotational program to support your career development.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software: Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint.
- Active leadership experience in student organizations and/or work experiences with interest to continue to grow your leadership skills.
- Demonstrated strengths in analysis, creative problem-solving, communication, interpersonal relationships, self-motivation, and leadership., * Previous Internship/Co-op experience.
- Interest in cybersecurity, infrastructure, networking, cloud technologies, or IT operations.
- Understanding of technology concepts such as networking, cloud computing, information security, or enterprise systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated leadership through student organizations, work experiences, athletics, volunteer activities, or other involvement.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated initiative, curiosity, and a desire to continuously learn new technologies.
- Strong interest in long-term career growth and development within Polaris.

The Selection Process:
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis throughout the fall. Selected candidates will participate in a phone screen, business screen, and virtual interview with Polaris HR and business leaders. Candidates who successfully complete the interview process may receive an offer to join the D&IT Leadership Development Program. Rotation placements are determined based on business needs, individual interests, and development goals, with start dates aligned to graduation timing in either January or June.
DP Relocation Assistance:
Polaris offers a relocation program through our mobility vendor for employees who qualify. Benefits include a lump sum payment, self-haul moving package, lease cancellation/duplicate housing reimbursement, and access to a relocation counselor. The counselor will explain available resources and assist in securing short-term housing. You will be responsible for daily transportation to and from the office., The starting pay range for Minnesota is $79,000 to $88,500 per year. Individual salaries and positioning within the range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. While individual pay could fall anywhere in the range based on these factors, it is not common to start at the high end or top of the range.
To qualify for this position, former employees must be eligible for rehire, and current employees must be in good standing.

About the company
Placement Locations May Include: Many ITDPs are based out of our corporate headquarters in Medina, MN, but opportunities may also exist in Plymouth, MN; Wyoming, MN; Roseau, MN; Huntsville, AL; Wilmington, OH; and Vermillion, SD
Upon completion of the program, you will transition into a full-time D&IT-related position within the business, contingent on business needs and the skills and experience you demonstrate during the program.
