Salary: £55,000-75,000 + Excellent Benefits

Are you passionate about building and optimising in Microsoft Azure? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing cloud engineering team where you’ll work with the latest Azure services, contribute to large-scale projects, and develop your career in a supportive, collaborative environment.

The Role

As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing, delivering, and optimising cloud solutions within the Microsoft Azure environment. You’ll focus on automation, scalability, and security - ensuring services are efficient, reliable, and aligned with best practice.

Working alongside experienced senior engineers, you’ll be supported with mentorship, learning opportunities, and clear pathways for career progression.

What You’ll Do

  • Build, configure, and deliver Azure-based solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
  • Monitor and optimise cloud performance, ensuring services meet SLAs and are cost-efficient.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the Azure environment.
  • Migrate on-premise systems to Azure and deploy new solutions.
  • Implement cloud security measures (encryption, firewalls, identity and access management).
  • Develop automated processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), pipelines, and containerisation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, translating technical detail into business value.
  • Stay up to date with the latest Azure technologies and bring forward new ideas for improvement.

What We’re Looking For

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (PaaS, IaaS, networking, security).
  • Knowledge of virtual networks, VPNs, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools, and containerisation (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep, or similar).
  • A solid understanding of cloud governance, compliance, and data security best practices.
  • Bonus: Exposure to other cloud platforms or hybrid environments.

What’s In It for You

  • Career Growth: Learn from senior engineers and progress into more senior technical roles.
  • Continuous Learning: Dedicated time for training, certifications, and workshops.
  • Collaboration: Be part of a team that values knowledge-sharing and innovation.
  • Wellbeing & Benefits: A comprehensive package covering health, lifestyle, financial, and personal wellbeing.
