Job description
An opportunity has arisen for a DevOps Engineer to join an innovative technology organisation delivering complex software solutions for customers across a specialist technical environment.
As a DevOps Engineer, you will support cloud and on-premises infrastructure, deployment processes and automation solutions across the organisation. This full-time role offers salary £60,000 and benefits.
Note: Valid DV clearance is essential for this role.
You will be responsible for:
- Building, managing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code solutions.
- Managing and optimising Linux-based infrastructure and cloud environments.
- Implementing monitoring, logging, alerting and observability solutions.
- Automating deployment and operational activities.
- Supporting containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Working with development teams to improve software release processes.
- Maintaining security throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
- Investigating and resolving infrastructure and deployment issues.
- Creating and maintaining operational documentation.
Requirements
- Previously worked as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
- Valid DV clearance.
- Approx 3+ yeras commercial experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Systems Engineering.
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Experience AWS, Azure or Google Cloud and working with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong background working with CI/CD platforms and in Linux administration.
- Familiarity in using Terraform, Ansible or similar Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Good understanding of networking and security principles.
- Strong knowledge of Git.
