Job description

  • Oversee the architectural design and implementation of Gemini-backed features, ensuring high performance and low latency within the vehicle’s resource-constrained environment.
  • Drive the development of next-generation reference applications and tools that enable first and third-party developers.
  • Partner with product, UX, and car manufacturers to align the applications layer with deep vehicle integration and talent development, recruit, mentor, and retain a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of rapid experimentation, technical excellence, and ā€œAI-firstā€ thinking.
  • Implement agile methodologies tailored for the automotive lifecycle, balancing the changing nature of Gen AI development with the safety and stability requirements of an OS.
  • Serve as a technical spokesperson for the AAOS App ecosystem, advocating for the adoption of AI first approach across internal stakeholders and external partners.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Team management?, Do you have a Master’s degree?, * Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 8 years of experience in software development.
  • 3 years of experience in android development.
  • 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role and 2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role.
  • Experience with coding in Java, Kotlin or other object oriented programming languages., * Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Experience with android OS development.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $207,000-$300,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
