Our client is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to help manage and expand its Microsoft 365 technology environment, with a particular focus on Power Platform, AI enablement, identity integrations, and enterprise application connectivity. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of systems administration, cloud platforms, security, automation, and emerging AI technologies. The successful candidate will help establish and maintain a secure and scalable Microsoft environment while partnering with technical teams and business users to turn technology capabilities into practical solutions. You’ll play a key role in balancing enterprise governance and security requirements with the need for business teams to innovate quickly. What You’ll Do

  • Provide senior-level administration and technical support across Microsoft 365, with an emphasis on Power Platform, AI capabilities, and application integrations.
  • Manage identity and application integrations within Microsoft Entra ID, including application registrations, enterprise applications, permissions, consent, and service identities.
  • Oversee the lifecycle of enterprise application integrations to ensure they remain secure, supportable, and aligned with organizational standards.
  • Evaluate and onboard internal and third-party applications that integrate with the Microsoft environment.
  • Work with application owners, developers, security teams, and business stakeholders to implement appropriate authentication and authorization solutions.
  • Administer Microsoft Power Platform, including environments, capacity, usage, solutions, and lifecycle management across development, testing, and production.
  • Establish and enforce governance practices that provide appropriate controls around low-code development while still allowing business teams to build approved solutions.
  • Assist with moving Power Platform solutions through development, testing, and production while providing ongoing operational support.
  • Help drive adoption and effective use of Microsoft Copilot and related AI capabilities across the organization.
  • Partner with business and technical teams to identify opportunities for AI-assisted workflows, automation, and intelligent applications.
  • Help design practical AI and automation solutions that meet security, compliance, and operational requirements.
  • Promote responsible and sustainable approaches to enterprise AI adoption.
  • Act as an escalation resource for complex Microsoft 365 issues involving automation, integrations, identity, and AI-enabled solutions.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, configuration standards, procedures, and operational runbooks.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to other administrators and business technology users.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, identity, and compliance teams on enterprise technology initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve platform reliability, automate administrative processes, and increase the organization’s overall Microsoft 365 maturity.
  • Maintain accurate records of system configurations, changes, incidents, and other work within established IT service management processes.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • 5-8 years of experience supporting or administering Microsoft 365, cloud platforms, or enterprise collaboration technologies.
